Our mission which started in 1987 was to provide quality products
and services to customers and strive also to provide the industry
a cost effective way to repair scratches on glass, acrylics, and
stone, giving our customers the opportunity for business growth.
The legacy is still going on, we started
with the materials in 1987 saving 9 million dollars of scratched
glass in Naples Florida. Innovative Polishing at that time came
up with the 6" polishing
and backer pad and had a 4" polishing pad and backer pad made
for us (proprietary) which we developed for the scratch removal
process, long before any one else even new about glass polishing
with this particular hand held polisher process's and compounds.
Over the years we have had distributors working for us the first
one was Degorter Inc. where I redesigned the compound to a paste
not the old process with a powder compound you just added water,
it was referred to as the DeGorter system when they were distributing
it from 1992 thru 2000. We also had GlasWeld Systems distributing
the product for us on a worldwide basis 1998 thru Sept 2004, it
was then, BSI and ANSI certified and as far as we know to this
day our (IPS) product is the only one that has documentation to
prove it's non-distortive capabilities, you must be careful alot
of people claim it meets the standards but can't produce proof.
We no longer use GlasWeld (The ScratchWeld system) to distribute
any of our products we private labeled for them. We are now manufacturer
direct as well as our manufacturer direct Agents (soon Worldwide)
which will create large savings for the consumer, check out our

To this day we are still leading the market.
We were the originators who came out first with the hook and
Loop pads and backer pads for glass and acrylic's polishing.
We now make in 2",3",4",
and 5" and 6". Our newest process is a system for Acrylic's
utilizing 2",3" and 4" pads and specialty foam's
as well as specialty processes and coatings (for headlamps and
lenses stopping degragation) it is being tested currently by the
FAA, and JAA and British Aero Space, in October we will have a
FAA certification course for glass and acrylics on aircraft both
processes will be approved by the FAA (it will have a TSO number).
We also will be offering a state of the art CE and UL approved
water feed gun. Also look for our new product name manufactured

Over the years imitators of what Innovative Polishing Systems
has invented, processes and compounds and pads, have appeared in
