Perfected in 1989 after seven years of research
and sold internationally since 1991, our product is the only ANSI
(American National Standard Institute) and BSI (British Standard
Institute) certified, documentation backed, distortion-free scratch
removal system for glass, as tested for Glas-Weld Systems, Inc.
Innovative Polishing Systems' reputation for quality scratch removal
products, superior service and technical consulting has made us
a cost effective leader in glass and plastics restoration. Serving
the aviation, marine, construction, flat glass, automotive, aquarium,
building maintenance and window cleaning industries, our products
are used to remove scratches from:
- Soft vinyl windows, such as those found
on convertibles, boats and restaurant patio roll-down windows·
- All glass,
including mirrors and tempered glass, annealed glass, chemically
strengthened glass, architectural glass, hurricane glass, auto
windshields and windscreens, aircraft transparencies…any
type of glass ·
- Stretched acrylic, including soft clear
vinyl, acrylic headlight lenses, aircraft transparencies, aircraft
canopies, aircraft windshields, polyester polycast, polycarbonate·
- Gel
coat, including boats and fiberglass auto bodies
Our system utilizes a custom, lightweight,
hand-held, high-speed polisher (reducing operator fatigue), suspension
compounds, and
custom, flat 2", 3", 4", 5", 6" pads.
IPS was the first to develop the process utilizing these custom
perforated and non-perforated pads for hand-machine polishing.
Our system is rapidly replacing heavy felt-wheel buffers and awkward
tube feeding slurry systems.
